Electric Avenue Event at the NJ State House Annex
On Monday, October 15th, 2018 ChargEVC turned West State Street in Trenton, NJ into Electric Ave. EVs of all shapes and sizes lined the road along with an electric bus from Proterra and an electric refuse truck from BYD. Following the Senate Energy and Environment Committee hearing in which S2252 passed, a press conference was held. Speakers included:
- Pamela Frank, CEO of ChargEVC
- President Joe Fiordaliso of the NJBPU
- Senator Bob Smith
- Senator Linda Greenstein
- Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin
- Rev. Ronald Tuff of Greenfaith
Following the press conference, attendees took a ride on the fully electric bus provided by Proterra and participated in an EV ride and drive outside the State House Annex.
